Nice terminal, but terribly inconvenient. Was fully screened (laptops out etc.) twice for an International departure: was the first screening a joke? Should we be worried? Luggage carts are not free as you'd expect, but cost a whopping$4(a sneaky tax on families). And although the airport is tiny, some genius built two terminals far apart from each other, apparently to spite non-Qantas international visitors who are connecting and are utterly inconvenienced as a result.
Good flights from here. Decent food, facilities and shops. Quite clean too.
great improvements and new fingers for the A380 coming from Middle East (mainly Emirates Airlines from Dubai and by Qatar from Doha, or Qantas, that offers also the first DIRECT flight from/to London Heathrow!).With E-passport you can even enter the borders only by two automatic steps.M station should be ready by next years.
Always expect high prices at an airport, however Perth is better than some. Had a really nice coffee made by a really sweet lady at one of the coffee stands. Flight was normal. No complaints
Love hearing the rumbles of the reverse thrust as the big planes land and the whistling of the plane engines before take off. An exciting place waiting for loved ones to arrive and whilst waiting, watching the reaction of others as they see their loved one pop out through the arrivals doors. Its a good emotional feeling you get when you see family members and others reunite with one another. You dont get that feeling anywhere else.
