One of the best places to visit in the city. Ground floor focuses on contemporary art and the latest in the local arena. Top floors offer art pieces tested by time. A nice flow overall. There's also space for private/corporate events. Attentive team on the ground. Has a very good shop and cafe withing the master building. Very close to other attractions.
Great exhibitions that take a way less colonial eye to art than I am used to seeing. Informative, okay variety of perspectives. Helps you get a pretty good sense of WA in a couple hours.
Interesting exhibits, love the fact that they have a local WA exhibition.Floor plan is well thought of which made it less confusing.I would love to come back again!
Very interesting exhibitions, especially the six seasons of indigenous art. Beyond bling has also beautiful pieces not your usually jewellery. Lovely elderly staff who are very helpful as well as their security guards. The little shop inside has very stunning cards for any occasion or just for yourself and all types of gifts, jewellery and books. Very tempted to buy too much. Very pleasant and interesting visit I highly recommend.
Viewed entries in the Black Swan Portrait competition. An outstanding experience. The venue itself is a little less than clearly marked if you're from out of town so head to either the cultural centre or approach from the train station via the bridge - under the b fridge and you will add a few hundred metres to your access route.
