Classic Perth nightspot. One of those rare places that has a good atmosphere and is open late but isn't completely rammed and you can have a conversation. The food is pretty decent and they have a good beer selection. It's great that they've managed to keep up the chilled atmosphere and great service.
My friend and I came in around 10:30PM, even though it was late they were quite busy, so it took a while for us to be seated - but we didnt mind waiting. After asking if we could sit in a booth (since the table we were at was a bit uncomfortable for us) the waitress was very accommodating, despite being so busy, and I really appreciated that we got to sit in the retro booths. Despite how busy the restaurant was, we got good service - though waits were long in between we didnt mind, we understand how difficult dinner rushes are. We shared a burger, sour cream and bacon fries and a milkshake between us. The burger was the best. Id love to go back and try the infamous chocolate mud cake.
Great service. We had iced coffees and cake. Was really good. Took in the show that night in the back room. It was Urbane Legends. A story telling troupe.
Really happy with this cafe! Opens till late which is awesome given that the whole of Perth closes so early! The food and the service is just great and the atmosphere is definitely one to remember! Thanks
The Moon is a Perth institution! Great food, friendly staff and homely decor. The late opening hours are super convenient and its my go to for a late night coffee or drink when everything is shut.
