Rude staff - avoid cheap gyms - not worth itCustomer service here is dead, i rang up in advance to commence my 7 day trial & said that im 5 minutes away. When i arrived i rang the entrance bell 3-4 times and called twice to no response. Finally a pt sees me and says something on the other side of glass which was unaudible. My lip reading understood are you coming in? (im standing outside with a towel and water bottle) no sh*#! So i proceed with my workout feeling unwelcomed like i dont belong here . Some man-lady butch pt is pressuring me to move off using the equipment that she wants immediately for her client. Im in mid pullup motion as i can feel her lazer eyes mean mugging me from behind (literally standing behind me as im doing pullups! I was also using a bench right next to it for a superset. What do you know she drags it away from me for her client to use as a squat cushion. By far the rudest pt with a terrible ego problem i have ever met and i did my pt course at AIF. Happy to say ill never return, thanks for your time Elisa.
People are crazy with these reviews. This is a great gym for the price. It's very inexpensive, so it won't have the big locker rooms or lots of floor space. But it packs a punch for being so small. There's heaps of free weights with plenty of room, 2 free barbell squat racks as well as a smith machine, a leg press, assisted pull-up machine as well as a cable machine with the option to do pull ups there + tons of machines if you're into using those instead of free weights. There's also a functional area with boxes, bands, yoga balls, mats, etc. Yeah, its not huge and you have to use the toilets that are communal with the rest of the building but if you want a big fancy gym then go there and pay a little extra for the small stuff. If not, this gym is great.Also the staff are really nice. Never gotten any personal training but they seem to know what they're doing and are overall friendly.

Plus Fitness staff are outstanding humans, they have only ever shown 100% care for everyone around them and give such a vibrant uplifting energy in the gym. I love that this place feels like a community rather than a place that feels intimidating or taken over by big green hulks. Thank you Plus Fitness North Perth for creating such a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere!
