Simply give this place a pass! Ive seen discarded syringes on the grass along with broken beer bottles AND human excrement, hardly an appropriate place for kids. The locals sit around in corroborees most of the day and night. They swear like sailors on shore leave. Glance through the reviews below and youll get a fair idea of the truth. This is no place to bring children to. There are regular assaults in this park.
To be avoided, especially after dark. It's like a zoo! Certainly not a destination for families or children.Last November, 2018 a man was stabbed in the chest with a steak knife in the park. There are clusters of intoxicated groups sitting all around glaring at outsiders. It may be reasonably scenic during daylight, but still risky. There needs to be a regular police presence here to deter anti social behavior.
This place requires police patrols. The camps of drug & alcohol abusers are a disgrace! A dangerous disgrace. Go there at your own risk.
Needles, broken glass, drunk people during they day... This is not a nice place for a sightly visit, best keep to the river. Do not come to this park with children and dont come here at night time.
Need better toilets (two lots ) Because it's a big park. And the tourists will enjoy more mingling with the original people. I see everyone all enjoying and getting along with each other... I see a lot of different tourists loving the people who "UNITY "BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER
