We visited NIB Stadium to watch Perth Glory play. What a lovely stadium and a great size for the soccer. It was easy to enter with the simple ticketing entry process (we had our tickets be purchased). After we entered there were lots of activities for adults and kids on lovely grass area. We had a ball and my daughter even won a prize. The best bit was it was enclosed in the stadium which meant I didn't have to worry about my kids running on the road. During the game there was the fan cam and Karaoke. We all got into singing and clapping along. I felt like I was part of a special community.If you enjoy the soccer and get the opportunity to watch Glory play here definitely go along and participate. We had a lot of fun.
NIB Stadium is the Home ground for the Perth Glory but I feel that the platinum seating can be improved with the addition of free food for VIP Tickets and upwards. Other than that, the view of the playing field is great and is an excellent place for a night out!
Found that they have gluten free food for purchase, and organised fresh hot chips gluten free. They now no longer have a gluten free sausage roll. Very disappointed with this. They have for Glory games a bag free line which the security seem to be letting people with bags go through. They also seem to be happy to let people who have been drinking alcohol before getting into the stadium in.
Good amenities - lots of toilets and food/drink stands, the food is generally okay with moderately-healthy options available, and good local beer (Gage Roads Single Fin). Easy to access being close to two train stations, or you can park at the Public Transport Centre for free and walk up the road. Easy to get around when there. Good sight lines and large capacity, not squishy.
Great for soccer. If afternoon game, I do not recommend the main stands since you will glare into the sun so bring a cap. Free parking at East Perth train station if you are early enough which is about a 10 minute walk.
