Easily the worst Coles I have been to. It is small in size so lacks a lot, awkward to navigate, the parking is extremely awkward due to tiny bays and dangerous blind corners getting either down or up. The worst part though, is the other human beings there. The customers are awful -full of arrogant soccer mum types with bratty children, and then after school absolutely PACKED with kids from Wesley with all their bags piled up out the front like a scene from the Holocaust. The staff are hit or miss, a couple of the younger guys that work there are great, but there is one older lady in particular who just talks and talks and talks to her friends while ignoring other customers at self serve. There have been occasions where she has been so outwardly rude to me that she was sighing and huffing and puffing at me so loudly I thought perhaps she was in the midst of a fit. It might be a longer drive to Vic Park, but lord almighty is it worth it. Never. Again.
Handy location in South Perth but cramped and very busy. I question how long some of their items stay on the shelf.The checkout line for non-self serve checkouts can extend into the produce section making it very difficult to navigate. I would not recommend coming to this Coles if you have a child in tow.
3 stars purely for convenience. Otherwise it would get 1 star because it's so small and can't carry as much variety as other much larger suburban stores. It has several self-checkout registers, one trolley checkout for larger shoppings and a small row for smaller basket shopping. The biggest peeve is that you need to line up away from the checkouts along the lettuce/salads aisle and wait to be called. For those unfamiliar to this store's quirky check-out setup they tend to stand right behind the person being served at the checkout NOT where the silly line begins...and are therefore unwittingly pushing in. Annoying to the local shoppers aware of the drill. Annoying that this is how it is the way it has to be. But really, who's fault is that? I say it's Coles.
Good product range, great prices, but parking is a nightmare
Smaller Coles.. Good parking.. Reasonable range of goods and enough specials.
