Payout figures are ridiculous and it's impossible to find out how much of the loan you have actually paid off and what the actual balance is. It's all about the contract, maximising their profit at the client's expense, and the rude payout figure, as if the interest they are making on an ongoing basis isn't enough. Macquarie was the finance recommended by Nissan Morley (Another business we won't be dealing with if we are ever stupid enough to buy a new car again.....I DOUBT IT) To betray your customers to a greedy finance company is bad business. I will be contacting my bank, whatever the payout figure, and saying goodbye to Macquarie so I can have some autonomy over our loan. Lesson learned. Never trust a car dealership who says they will find you the best finance available.

Fairly disappointed with MacQuarie. Nice staff, but thats about where it ends... long delays, strange restrictions on transacting, slow dealing with issues, a seemingly endless barrage of forms, and the fees have been like death by a thousand cuts. Having now spoken to a number of other colleagues in the same and related industries, Ive learned we werent the only ones with these problems. Wish I was told that before we used them. Would strongly recommend going elsewhere.
So what is going on in the greedy house of Macquarie - with interest rates starting to increase across the planet - they are removing any interest payment at all for my SMSF accounts with a balance under $5,000 and then reducing the rate from a paltry 1.4% to an even less 1.3%. Enough to make you move your account and after 15 years of loyal depositing that is what I will be looking to do. SHAME MACQUARIE - SHAME!
