It wasnt 12.30 pm , there is still 15 minutes, but they said it is closed already. I thought the attitude would be different in here but found that it is just the same as in Indonesia. What a shame.
Came here to extend my expired Indonesian passport. Waited about 30 minutes in line to submit my documentations. I was told that all the documentations are complete and they need to to take my photos there even though I have brought my own photo ID.Waited for another 3.5 hours just to get my pictures taken. During that time, I did not even see anyone who had their photos taken for their passport for the first 2 hours.What's worse is that the passport extension process is expected to be completed within 4 days, and I was told that they will contact me once it's done. 2 weeks went by and no phone calls nor emails from them. I had to call them 3 times over the week just to get a confirmation that my new passport is ready.1 star for overall poor customer service experience.
They don't answer their phone..so a 1 hour trip into the Consulate..take a number...wait 1 hour..ask my question...told to come back in a week..1 hour trip back home. 3 hours...worst part, I have to do it all again next week....normal procedure in Indonesia, thought it might be better in Australia...NOPE same same
