This grand old Dame is showing her age in some ways with her older rooms and air-conditioning but it's hard to fault the quality of the service, quality of beds, pillows, linen, towels, buffet breakfast etc. All these facets are outstanding. Location is great as is the pool, gym and valet parking. Check in and priority check out was fast and convenient.
It is wonderful, the Staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. My Room is very very nice and the Bed most comfortable. The Towels in the Bathroom are white and fluffy just the way I like them, I have stayed at other Hilton Hotels I would recommend the Parmelia Hilton to anyone.
Great location for a conference. Facilities, service and support on hand as required. Coordination pre and post event made easy. Food is plentiful but you do pay a premium.
Very average hotel with no wow factor whatsoever:The good:- Location is great.- Staff are decent.- It ticks all the standard boxes of what you need.The bad:- Rooms are small and outdated.- There was dust on the surfaces and some areas of the bathroom looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while.- The TV quality was very poor.- We asked for a Queen bed and were told it's $30 pricier than twin - fair enough. We decided to stick with the twin bed, which happened to not be available yet (we checked in early) but the Queen bed conveniently was. Coincidence? Perhaps, but they did get $30 extra out of us in any case.For the same price, you can get a much better alternative.
Parmelia Hilton Perth is located right at the heart of the city centre and within the free bus travel zone. It is about a half hour drive from the airport and cost about $50. The hotel is a little dated but makes up for it in location and service which is impeccable. Ground floor has the lobby, bar and restaurant as well as a business centre with computers and a meeting room. The first floor events and meetings area and the second floor hosts the outdoor pool and sun deck and a nice size gym with plenty of machines and equipment. Whilst the rooms could do with an update they are large, well planned and has plenty of space and storage. There also plenty of power points in the room and by the bed. The bathrooms are also reasonable big with both tubs and showers. As there is no executive lounge, elite members get a drink and some tapas in the restaurant which is a nice offering. Overall a good hotel and well located for exploring Perth.
