The Duxton has an amazing facade however the experience lacked lustre.The room was clean however on inspection the quilt had no protective cover or quilt cover and was old and shabby. The aircon was akin to a leaf blower in the room on the lowest setting. With regard to extras at this level no Foxtell and an expensive movie package at 35 dollars a day and on valet parking at another rounded 50 bucks it piles on the cost. Bathroom dated chipped tiles. Overall had a better experience for the same price in Perth.
Absolutely Horrendous Hotel would not recommend at all. Service is appalling. Food is extremely bland and flavorless if you enjoy flavor then do not go here. I waited over 20min for a water to be bought to my room from room service and had to call again as they had forgot. Staff are also fakely friendly almost as if they are forced to smile. Very overpriced and old Hotel for what you pay. your better of going to any other hotel as this one will not leave you with a good taste in your mouth. Literally. Did not enjoy one minute at this hotel and has left me with a horrible memory of Perth!.
This is our home away from home - never a bad thing to say about The Duxton. Staff are not only friendly but welcome us back with familiarity. Facilities are outstanding and rooms and beautifully comfortable. Club lounge is a great atmosphere and well serviced. Love The Duxton!

Stay here for a one night getaway, it was amazing. The food (dinner and breakfast) you could no complain it was cooked to perfection. The rooms where very clean and the staff were lovely
