Did not believe me that I had deal offered which should have meant period of 2 weeks free hire . Clearly indicated in emails from onboarding dept, after conceding I had been then wouldn't honour agreement , pulling deal from website , with one link to deal visible even today on google search As a result they accelerated my termination of contract , first tried to trick me into giving up car before my paid up period had ended by asking to come in for a chat but mainly to bring the car ( a tactic that has seen other members stranded in Leederville as they took car while member in diversionary fake meeting - see oz best sellers pages ) when I didn't fall for that they harrased me and my riders by following me around and finally very unprofessionally and without waiting for decision from head office regarding the status of the deal they still wouldn't recognise , physically attacked me attempting to remove key as I drove away despite still being in period of hire paid for , without regard that driving uber is my living and preventing me from working and taking away my car and leaving me without the ability to replace merely by taking the car just because by this stage I had contacted complaints . Then when they failed with this outrageous act of amateur repossession without following any of the necessary requirements or even just trying to ask me for the key he then falsely accused me to the police of me being the aggressor and pressed charges against me. I think in revenge for me making a complaint , one he was confident he would be making any decision on and making the call himself on any complaints .Also the $ 275 membership fee that you ger promised many things such as training and member packs , in fact you get nothing As for the new cars , they allow you to inspect them in dark room , presented in unclean condition with food on floor , greasy Windows , 90,000 on clock and obviously a repaired wreck with respray end panels and mis aligning headlamps Randomly activated seatbelt warning chime buzzing for hours .I've been trying hopefully to say one good thing about my splend experience but honestly can't think of one

It's great cars but too expensive
After 8 months the experience has allowed me to work in a field which I believe I'm good at driving and customer service. The assistance that one receives from staff and fellow drivers has helped immensely. It has enabled me to grow and understand what one must do each day to eke out a living. The staff are approachable and willing to help, to ensure all drivers are doing well. The vehicles are ideal for this type of work.I believe there is always room for improvement on both sides and it's good to see Splend is looking at ways to assist drivers to do this. Overall 9/10
